Poets I Like

Dandelion

The transparent moon greets silently
Salty wind makes my tears run
They run along my cheeks
Chasing after butterflies in other hills
Our pink tears merge, oblivious to the pain
This bittersweet joy, like the last day of school
She knows, that's why even on nights like this
She remembers that's why the wind still blows
Carrying with herself particles of rust
The smell of blood and the memories of it
Rose petals press your heather scars
Blood ruptures from her body
But it's just the day of the dandelion

Minerva

Honored Minerva, what is love
What's the name of pain
Is it cold meals, lonely walks
If it isn't this, what is it?
Don't shrug at me when I'm in pain

Goddess Minerva, what is love
What's the name of happiness
Is it holding hands on long paths
Is it countless nights of company
If it isn't what is it?
Don't ignore me when I'm so lonely

Wretched Minerva, what is to be forsaken
What can't be found in others
And we never look for in ourselves
If it isn't love, why do I feel so strongly
Why do I want with all my heart
If it isn't love, why do I miss my sweet

Sand Crawler

Walking in the dunes, find another shard.
A fragment of a story, a mirror in the sand
Another tale, somebody's story made of clay
A novel of two lovers—i 0 type that never lasts
At night she comes from far, stares with no words.
Tonight we cry together; at dawn she'll be on her path.
I'm the sand crawler, collecting pieces of the past.
I'll also walk tomorrow, picking mementos.
The fragments are many, and my days are vast.
One day I won't be an outcast, but today I'll roam the sand.
